to multi-point network of 6 base stations
located on towers throughout Athens County. The 900MHz signal
ensures a reliable connection,
despite environmental factors and even without direct line-of-sight.
Each tower is connected via point to point wireless links
to the internet. In conjunction with our 900MHz system,
our network backbone
consists of additional 2.4 and 5.8 GHz wireless systems.
From
these tower locations we broadcast high-speed
internet service to residential and commercial
end-users, who receive the service through a small radio,
similar in size and appearance to a cable or DSL modem.
Our connection at this point can be merged seamlessly with
existing network infastructure, or a
new network can be built upon it.
