IntelliWave owns and operates a 900MHz point to multi-point network of 6 base stations located on towers throughout Athens County. The 900MHz signal ensures a reliable connection, despite environmental factors and even without direct line-of-sight in some cases. Each tower is connected via point to point wireless links to the internet. In conjunction with our 900MHz system, our network backbone consists of additional 2.4 and 5.8 GHz wireless systems.

From these tower locations we deliver high-speed internet service to residential and commercial end-users, who receive the service through a small radio, similar in size and appearance to a cable or DSL modem. From the installation point in the home, our technicians can set up wi-fi hotspots to enable connected mobility around the house or apartment.
